*Set an early bedtime to ensure your student is well rested.
*Try not to schedule appointments during these weeks.
*Make sure your child gets a healthy, well-balanced breakfast.

We look forward to sharing our continuing successes with you! Your participation is essential to your student's education, we can't do it without you!

2012 Replacement Levy Facts and Figures

The 2012 Replacement Levy funds approximately 20% of district's general fund budget.  If approved, the four-year levy will replace the current levy which expires in December 2012. This levy helps maintain student programs such: school nurses, P.E. teachers, music and other important learning areas in our community, not funded by state and federal funds.  Rates will remain similar to last year's, so taxpayers will not see much of an increase in their property tax rates for schools.

Dates and approval:
-Election date:  Tuesday, February 14, 2012
-Ballots mailed:  Friday, January 27th, 2012
-50%   1 vote required for approval
-Four-year levy

Replacement Levy Facts:
-Proposed taxpayer levy rates are similar to last year's rates
-Increases in home values wil not increase tax collections
-Replacement levy funds about 20% of the district's budget

-Pays for specialists not funded by the state (PE and Music)
